Orchid Mania at Cleveland Botanical Garden

Each February, hundreds of orchids invade Cleveland Botanical Garden, in Cleveland's University Circle cultural district. The month-long show features all shapes, sizes, and colors of these exotic plants--the perfect balm for a blustery winter's day.

The 2009 dates are February 28 through March 29.

What is Orchid Mania?:

Orchid Mania features hundreds of delicate, colorful, and exotic orchids, in a large variety of shapes, species, and colors. Some are arranged in artful arrangements; others are displayed simply in pots. All are magnificent.

Hours and Admission:

Admission to Orchid Mania is included in the regular Botanical Garden admission price. Regular admission is $7.50 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-12. Children under 3 are free. Seniors (60+) pay $5.50 on Tuesdays (all day) and everyone pays just $5 on Wednesdays after 5pm.

The Garden is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm and on Sunday from 10am to 5pm. On Wednesdays, the Garden stays open until 9pm.
