About Canterbury Golf Club:
Canterbury Club, founded in 1921, sits at the border between Shaker Heights and Beachwood. The 146-acre site features one of the top 100 golf courses in the United States. The par 72, 6960-yard course was designed by Herbert Strong.Previous tournaments are Canterbury include the Senior Championship in 1996, the PGA Championship in 1973, the US Open in 1940, and the USGA Amateur Championship in 1964 and 1979.
Senior PGA Championship Schedule:
The 70th annual Senior PGA Championship schedule is as follows:- Tuesday, May 19 - Pro Am - 1030am to 6pm
- Wednesday, May 20 - Practice Round - 7am to 8pm
- Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 22 - Championship rounds - 730am to 715p
- Saturday, May 23 - Championship round - 815am to 6pm
- Sunday, May 24 - Championship round - 830am to 3pm.
Tickets :
Tickets to the Senior PGA Championship at Canterbury start at $30 per person for single round tickets and go up to $200 per person for clubhouse passes. Practice round tickets are $15 per person.Tickets are available from the Senior PGA Championship Web site.
