Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival

Cleveland's Irish Cultural Festival has been highlighting Irish music, food, art, and dance for more than 25 years. Held each July at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea, Ohio, the event is one of the area's most popular summer festivals. The 2008 dates are July 18-20.

Entertainment:

The Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival features live entertainment on nine stages. 24 acts, from pipe bands to ballad singers are scheduled to perform.

Food:

Food at the Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival includes traditional fair food, such as hot dogs and funnel cakes, as well as Irish favorites, such as Irish stew, shepherd's pie, and corned beef sandwiches.

Other Activities at the Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival:

In addition to the music and the food, there is an Irish art show, traditional Irish dancing, a children's petting zoo and pony rides, an Irish dog show, and more than 50 vendors selling a variety of Irish-themed items.

Hours and Admission:

The Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival is open Friday from 4pm to midnight, on Saturday from 1pm to midnight, and on Sunday from 1pm to 11pm. In addition, there is an open-air mass on Sunday at 1130am.

Admission is $10 and children under ten years old are free. Parking is also free.
