This regional chain of steakhouses has been called one of America's best steakhouses by the Zagat Guide. With four locations in Northeast Ohio -- in Beachwood, Westlake's Crocker Park, downtown Cleveland, and Akron -- you're never far from a Hyde Park Grille. The menu features USDA Prime steaks and chops, fresh seafood, and "creative chef specialities." The menu is complemented by a menu of over 100 wines offered by the glass. The decor varies a little by location, but is always cozy and club-like.

Located in the Warehouse District downtown at W. 9th and St. Clair, XO is a favorite of sports stars and visiting celebrities. The menu features USDA Prime steaks, which range from a 8oz. filet to a 48oz. porterhouse for two. Of course, there's seafood also: lobster, crab legs, and an assortment of fresh fish. There are predictable sides and appetizers, such as a jumbo shrimp cocktail, and surprising ones, such as calamari stuffed with spicy chorizo sausage and fontina cheese. The elegant dining room is soothing and perfectly appointed and the service staff are well-trained, knowledgeable, and helpful without being obsequious.
