Located in the East Fourth Street Entertainment District, Lola Bistro is the signature restaurant of Food Network star, Michael Symon. The food is eclectic and well-conceived, making use of regional produce and meats. Lola is open for lunch Monday through Friday and for dinner seven nights a week. Reservations are a good idea.

Lolita's is Symon's contribution to the Tremont restaurant scene. Symon, one of the pioneers in Tremont dining, offers tasty Mediterranean cuisine in a casual setting at Lolita. The menu features a variety of cured meats (pork is Symon's favorite food group) as well as pizzas, pastas, small plates, burgers, and grilled entrees. Lolita's is open for dinner only Tuesday through Sunday.

The B-Spot

The B-Spot originally opened in Woodmere, in Eton Shopping Center, in 2009. Two other locations opened in Strongsville and Westlake (at Crocker Park). There is also a location in Quicken Loans Arena that is open only for Cleveland Cavaliers games. The concept of these Symon restaurants is good, simple food in a casual setting. Menu highlights include a choice of 16 burgers (try the porky burger with pulled pork, cole slaw, bbq sauce and bacon), six variations on the bologna sandwich and seven Bad A** shakes.

B-Spot at Horseshoe Casino Cleveland

Symon's B-Spot is one of three food vendors at the food court in the new Horseshoe Casino Cleveland. The outlet, which is open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 11am to 2am, serves B-Spot favorites including burgers, brats and beer.

Roast - Detroit

Symon opened the huge (8,000-square foot) "Roast" in the historic Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in downtown Detroit in the fall of 2008. The eatery was named the 2009 Restaurant of the Year by the Detroit Free Press.

Bar Symon

Bar Symon was Chef Symon's casual Avon Lake eatery. Opened in July, 2009, the restaurant closed permanently at the end of October, 2010.

Parea - New York City

Parea was Symon's venture in New York City, a casually-elegant Greek restaurant in the city's Flatiron neighborhood. The restaurant, which opened in 2006 and closed in 2007, was rated a respectable two stars by the "New York Times" food critic and gave Clevelander, Jonathan Sawyer (of Bar Cento and Greenhouse Tavern fame) his first head chef position.
