A Tour of University Circle

The last stop on our University Circle walking tour is just to the right of the Glidden House. In fact, it's housed in the estate's former carriage house. Sergio's is a delightfully cozy restaurant, specializing in Brazilian food with just a hint of Asian influence, fine wines, and friendly service. The 50-seat restaurant expands into the parking lot in the summer, with colorful umbrellas and cute bistro tables.

The food here is creative and delicious, with a diverse menu of grilled meats, roasted pork and chicken, and the freshest seafood. Appetizer choices include lobster spring rolls and scallop "lollipops" accompanied by a soy sesame dipping sauce. Mojitos are the cocktail of choice here, but Sergio's also boasts a varied and affordable wine list, with lots of South American selections.

Sergios is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 1130am to 230pm and for dinner, Monday through Thursday from 5pm to 930pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 11pm. Reservations are a good idea.
