How to Buy Tickets for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
In 2009, for the first time, the general public will be able to attend the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Concert to be held at Cleveland's Public Hall on April 4. Obviously, tickets are limited, so knowing where are when tickets are available will put you ahead of the crowd. Here are a few tips.
The Twilight

The Michael Stanley Band is a Northeast Ohio regional favorite. Formed in the mid-70s, the band is best known for its songs "My Town" and "He Can't Love You." Frontman, Michael Stanley was born in Cleveland, raised in Rocky River, and attended Rocky River HS and Hiram College. Never quite able to break through to a national audience, MSB continued to fill area concert venues until they broke up in 1986. Today, Stanley and his new band, the Resonators, perform periodic concerts.

Opera Cleveland
Opera Cleveland was formed in 2006 by merging the Cleveland Opera with Lyric Opera Cleveland. The new company will launch its first season in April of 2007, which includes two grand opera presentations at Playhouse Square's State Theater and three more intimate performances at the Cleveland Playhouse.

Blossom Music Center 2006 Concert Dates
Blossom Music Center, located in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio, halfway between Cleveland and Akron, is the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra as well as a scenic venue for all sorts of summer music concerts. Concert-goers can sit on the lawn or spring for a pavilion seat. Blossom is known for its spectacular July 4th concerts.
Robert Lockwood Jr.
Grammy-award winning Bluesman, Robert Lockwood Jr. is a Cleveland institution. Born in Arkansas, he brought his soulful sound to Cleveland in 1961. Now over 90 years old, he still plays weekly at Fat Fish Blue, downtown, as well as other periodic gigs.
Cleveland Orchestra
Often called the "best in the world," the Cleveland Orchestra delights residents and visitors alike with its elegant and complex sound as well as its diverse repetoire.
Cleveland Institute of Music
The Cleveland Institute of Music is a Cleveland treasure. Located in the University Circle neighborhood, near Severance Hall, the Cleveland Orchestra, and Case Western Reserve University, the conservatory offers students a Bachelors of Music degree as well as advanced degrees, children's programs, and adult continuing education.
