Volunteering is one of the most fulfilling ways to be a part of Cleveland and to help the community thrive. There are dozens of non-profit and volunteer organizations that offer all sorts of enjoyable and meaningful projects.

Whether you have one hour of time to donate or one year, are interested in teaching kids, restoring community gardens, or helping the homeless, there is a project that’s right for you.

Business Volunteers Unlimited - This organization is a one-stop center that watches volunteers with local non-profits, charitable organizations, and other opportunities. Visit the site by clicking above or call 216 736-7711.

Habitat for Humanity - The Cleveland branch of Habitat for Humanity lists their current needs on their website (click above). Positions range from skilled tradesmen to landscaping crew to office personnel. Help make home ownership a reality for Cleveland families.

Jewish Community Federation - This local organization lists dozens of volunteer opportunities for kids, teens, and adults.

Cleveland Food Bank - The Cleveland Food Bank is the clearing house for most of the charitable food kitchens in NE Ohio. They are always in need of volunteers to fill food boxes, transport food, and stock shelves. For more information, visit their Web site.
