There are many Cleveland and Cuyahoga County food pantries available to those in need of food assistance. Below is a listing of food pantries scattered throughout Cuyahoga County. Some have residency restrictions; however most will serve anyone in need at least one time. None of the below require a referral, but some require proof of income.

Bainbridge Area Food for Friends - The pantry is open every morning, call for an appointment. Emergency food is provided to those in need during a temporary hardship in Bainbridge Township, Auburn Township, and South Russell Village. Eligibility is determined per case and not for those eligible for government or other assistance.

Bay Presbyterian Church - The pantry is open on the last Friday of the month from 11:30am – 1pm, expect for holidays when it is the Friday before. This pantry serves Bay Village residents. Shut-ins and those working may have food delivered. Expect a 3-day supply of food items such as peanut butter, rice, canned soup, unsweetened cereal, canned goods, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti, beans, macaroni and cheese, tuna, and household items like toilet paper. Application is required once yearly.

Bishop Griffin Service Center - The pantry offers household points based on their size of family and needs. They spend the points at the pantry to choose the items their family will eat, limit of 20 items per person. Clients may visit the pantry once a month. Other services provided include free clothing, shoes, and accessories. Also available are senior support services and job readiness services for the Hispanic population. Call the center for an appointment.

Brother Hubbard Cupboard - The pantry is open on the last two Tuesdays and Thursdays of the month from 10am – 1pm. This pantry serves the Central Woodland area. Expect a variety of food, based on family size.

Bethany Baptist Church - The pantry is open on the 4th Saturday of the month Jan – Oct and the 3rd Saturday in November and December between 9 – 10am. Those in need in the 44108, 44106, and 44103 zip codes may receive assistance once a month. The pantry is very generous with a 3-5 day supply of food. Please bring a photo ID and proof of residency like utility bill.

Bethel Seventh Day Adventist Church - The pantry is open the last Monday of the month from 10am – 2pm. The pantry is for those in need in the 44103 zip code that have an income within 1.5 times the Federal Poverty Guidelines. You may receive assistance every other month. Grocery items include canned meat, fresh vegetables, and non-perishable groceries. Ask about diapers for babies and adults. Delivery is available for those unable to come to the pantry because of a disability. Please bring a photo ID. Other documents are needed for first time visitors, call for information.

Brecksville Church of God of Prophecy - The pantry is open Monday – Friday from 10am – 4pm, by appointment. Residents of Brecksville that are in need may receive groceries every month. They offer a two-day supply of non-perishable groceries. This location is not wheelchair accessible. Call for an appointment Monday – Thursday between 10am – 3pm.

Broadway United Methodist Church - The pantry is open on the third Friday of the month between 11am – 1pm, by appointment. The pantry is available to those within the 1.5 times the Federal Poverty Guidelines and live in the 44127 and 44105. Please bring a photo ID, proof of income, proof of residency, and proof of family size. Please call for an appointment Tuesdays - Thursdays between 9am – 4pm and Fridays between 9am – 1pm.

Brook Park Reach - The pantry is open Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays between 11am – 3:30pm. Residents of Brook Park that are low income, laid off, or receiving unemployment may use this service once a month. Services are free, but donation is requested.

Brunswick United Church of Christ - The pantry is open on the third Wednesday of the month between 5:30 – 6:30pm and the last Saturday of the month between 11am – 1pm. Appointments for other days and times may be made. Scheduled appointments can be made for Sundays between 12:15 – 1:15pm. This pantry serves anyone in need, no restrictions. The food selection and amount varies based on availability. Other items available include diapers and personal grooming supplies. Other services provided include Soup’s On, enjoy a hot meal on the last Saturday of the month between 11am – 1pm.
