Lake Farmpark is a delightful working farm and learning center, just 25 miles east of downtown Cleveland. See 50 different breeds of livestock, marvel at honey and maple syrup being made, and enjoy one of the many special events, such as the annual Vintage Ohio Wine Festival held at the park. It's fun for the whole family.

The Exhibits:

Lake Farmpark invites visitors to watch daily demonstrations of machine and hand milking, cheese-making, ice cream making, and other farm skills. In addition, the park is home to 50 breeds of livestock, from pigs to alpacas, and kids, in particular, will delight in seeing the different animals being fed and cared for.

Lake Farmpark's "Plan Science Center" features exhibits about hydroponic and organic gardening, cultivating honey, and creating a viable greenhouse. The Woodland Center offers displays on forest conservation, maple syrup harvesting, and other outdoor activities of local interest. Regular events include horse and wagon-drawn hayrides and sheepherding demonstrations

Events at Lake Farmpark:

Lake Farmpark hosts an ambitious schedule of monthly events, including folk art exhibits, musical presentations, and seasonal celebrations. Some of the most popular are the annual "Vintage Ohio" wine festival, held each August, the fall "Village Peddler Festival" folk art and music festival, and "Country Lights," the December holiday spectacular.

Lake Farmpark is about 25 miles due east from downtown Cleveland and easily reached from route I-90. The park offers ample free parking and offers a delightful gift shop, which sells Ohio-made items including honey and maple syrup made right at the park.
