Cedar Point
Located just over an hour's drive from downtown Cleveland, on the shores of Lake Erie, Cedar Point Amusement Park offers more roller coasters than any other park in the world as well as live stage shows, dozens of rides, a white sand beach, and lots of fun for all ages.

East Liverpool Ohio - "The Pottery Capital of the World"
East Liverpool, located along the Ohio River in Eastern Ohio about 40 minutes west of Pittsburgh, is frequently dubbed the "Pottery Capital of the World" and "America's Crockery Capital." The city was once home to over 300 pottery companies, including American Limoges, Hall China Company, Fawcett Pottery, and Standard Pottery.

Put-in-Bay Ohio
Put-in-Bay, located on South Bass Island, just north of Sandusky and Port Clinton Ohio, is Ohio's Lake Erie playground. Cut off in the winter, the island comes alive in the summer with antique stores, a vibrant marina, lots of lively bars and restaurants, and a home-grown brewery and historic winery. Put-in-Bay belongs in every Clevelander's summer plans.

Chautauqua Insitutution - Chautauqua New York
The Chautauqua Institution, founded in 1874 by an Akron Ohio inventor and a Methodist minister, is a summer retreat dedicated to the arts and continuing education. Based on the premise that everyone "has a right to be all that he can be -- to know all that he can know", the Institute, located about a three-hour drive from Cleveland, combines a relaxed country setting with excellent speakers, performers, and classes.
