While the ECTP fluently connects downtown and University Circle, the regions two largest employment centers, CPA links art and technology by utilizing existing underground fiber optics. Recognizable “wireless nodes” house outdoor high-speed internet access creating a sculptural seamless network along the avenue and establishing the city’s first “smart street.” This underground network also services GCRTA providing real-time traffic information and improving travel efficiency along the corridor.

As of November 23, 2007, the Euclid Corridor Silver Line is operational between E 17th Street and E 55th Street. The entire line is expected to be open in early 2009.
