We start our ride on the Silver Line at Public Square on one of the 21 new GCRTA 62-foot diesel-electric RTVs, or Rapid Transit Vehicles. The European-inspired buses carry riders to 36 transit stations dispersed along the 6.7-mile route, ending at the Stokes Windermere Station at East 123rd Street. Along this route, buses travel smoothly down new center-median lanes, moving curbside at University Circle, and outfitted with exclusive signaling devices for quicker transportation.
