The Fairlawn, Ohio location is the first in Ohio to undergo a complete dining room transformation into bold colors with an artsy, modern flare. You will savor the food as everything is made home made and fresh daily. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Mrs Yoder's Kitchen -- Amish Restaurant Review

Mrs. Yoder’s Kitchen is the place to go for good, real Amish food in the heart of Amish Country. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming to all age groups, Amish or not. The menu has good home cooking, and the portions are generous and prices are just right. The kids menu is filled with foods your kids will gobble up. It is short drive from Akron but a world away from the busy city life.

Chipotle Mexican Grill has four locations in Akron. Although labeled a "quick service restaurant", Chipotle is a trendy place with premium quality food at a great price. The décor is hip and eclectic with brushed steel throughout.

Luna’s Deli & Grill, in Fairlawn Ohio, is a good choice for a casual meal anytime of the day as well as a great place for breakfast lovers, since breakfast is served all day long. The food is good and prices are very inexpensive. The American-fare menu offers something for everyone.

C & Y Chinese Restaurant

C & Y Chinese Restaurant, located in Cleveland's Chinatown neighborhood, is a large and lively eatery, reminiscent of the large Chinese restaurants around the California Bay area. The menu is varied, the clientele a harmonious mix of Asians and others, and the atmosphere upbeat and fun.

Chrissie Hynde's Vegi Terranean

If you are looking for a restaurant that is unlike any other in the Midwest, try Akron's Vegi Terranean. Vegetarian or not, you will enjoy the flavorful, all-organic, vegan food in an upscale contemporary setting. Located in downtown Akron, it is fast becoming a favorite spot for fine dining. The dining experience is well worth the drive downtown, as is one of founder and rock star Chrissie Hynde’s goal for her hometown.

Bennigan's

Bennigan’s is a franchise restaurant with two Akron area locations, one in Montrose and one in Cuyahoga Falls, as well as location in North Olmsted, Mentor, and Elyria. The décor is that of an old Irish neighborhood tavern with dark wood floors, tables and booths, Irish memorabilia hanging on the walls and ceilings, and dim lighting. This casual restaurant is popular with guests of all ages. Although the staff is friendly, service is a bit slower paced.

Chateau Louise in Luna Pier, Michigan

Entering Chateau Louise in Luna Pier, Michigan, just 6 miles outside of Toledo, for the first time came as a bit of a surprise. The food comes highly recommended, but the atmosphere is lacking. Once you get passed the ripped leather chairs and crowded dining room, however, the service is very friendly and the food homemade and fresh.

Parallax

Parallax, in Cleveland Ohio's Tremont neighborhood, combines sleek modern decor with exceptional food and friendly, knowledgeable service. Tremont is known for its good restaurants and this is one of the best.

Shorty's True American Roadhouse

A taste of the South is brought to Toledo Ohio at Shorty's True American Roadhouse. Part of the Mancy's Family of restaurants, Shorty's is a Toledo owned and operated favorite.

Tres Potrillos Mexican Restaurant

Tres Potrillos is fast becoming a favorite for Mexican cuisine in the Montrose/Akron Ohio area. The atmosphere is fun and inviting in their large dining area that is filled with vibrant Mexican décor. It is a great place to enjoy dinner out as a couple, with the family or with a large group of friends. The menu is extensive with all of your favorite authentic Mexican dishes as well as restaurant specialties and large kids menu.

Bahama Breeze

Bahama Breeze, located in the eastern Cleveland suburb of Orange, is part of a nationwide chain. The up-beat eatery serves Caribbean cuisine with speciality drinks, lilting music, and lots of fun. It's one of my favorites.

Cheesecake Factory

The Cheescake Factory, with two Cleveland locations, offers affordable food in a soothing, relaxing setting. Their menu is huge, but satisfying and their cheescake is legendary.
