Guide Review - Trattoria Roman Gardens
Trattoria Roman Gardens sits near the intersection of Mayfield and Murray Hill Roads in the heart of Little Italy. The main dining room is a lively, cheerful room with a black and white tile floor, colorful wall hangings and mirrors, and simple wooden tables with white tablecloths.The menu is loaded with Italian favorites. Starters include a varied and tasty antipasto platter with meats, cheeses and homemade salads and light and crispy fried calamari. Entrees include several veal and chicken dishes, including a light and favorful chicken picatta; pastas, including linguini with clam sauce and eggplant parmigiano; and sheet pizzas with a variety of Italian ingredients.
Trattoria has a small, but varied wine list, including a dozen or so offerings by the glass. The eatery also has a full bar and a number of Italian liqueurs.
Trattoria has several charming private party rooms for catered events as well as rear patio seating in the summer.
