Warm woodwork, soft lighting, and the hum of diners enjoying a good meal greet you as you enter Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar. This is not your typical steakhouse. For one thing, its nonsmoking. For another, Fleming's offers over 100 wines by the glass. Sparkling wines, reds, wines, ports, and dessert wines - from all over the world - are kept fresh in special wine coolers and by vacuum-sealing bottles after each use.

The Food
Steaks are the specialty at Fleming’s - from an 8oz filet to a 22oz porterhouse. Fleming’s hand cuts its steaks every day. No pre-packaged steaks here. Consequently, they offer less frequently seen steaks, such as a 14oz bone-in filet. All of the steaks here are USDA prime beef and broiled under a 1600 degrees broiler to seal in the flavor. Daily fresh fish specials, broiled Australian lobster tails, and curried scallops offer a tasty meal for non-beef lovers.

Varied appetizers including a delicious lobster tempura, Asian style calamari, and stuffed artichokes provide a tasty start to the meal. Side dishes are served family style. The cream spinach is a hit as is the spicy creamed corn. Complete the meal with Fleming’s signature chocolate lava cake dessert.

Specials
Periodic wine dinners offer a good value and an opportunity to taste hard to find wines. Fleming’s offers guests a prime rib special every Sunday, a meal not offered during the week. One price includes a salad, prime rib, side dish, and dessert.
