"A Better Place," located just off of E. 9th St., is indeed a better place in a sea of average downtown eateries. The food is good; the service is casual and friendly; and the prices are affordable.
The food starts with light and tasty conch fritters and house-made soups, including a refreshing gazpacho. Sandwiches include a jerk chicken sandwich and a tequila-marinated chicken breast sandwich on focaccia bread. There are also traditional burgers.
