Karl's Inn of the Barristers
Karls Inn of the Barristers, located across from the Justice Center in downtown Cleveland, is a favorite of court officials, lawyers, and jury members as well as Browns fans and those seeking an affordable and tasty lunch downtown.
Vivo
Vivo, located in the Cleveland Arcade, across from the House of Blues, is a stylish and convenient northern Italian restaurant, with white linen tablecloths, an interesting menu, and lots of wines by the glass.
A Better Place Caribbean and American Restaurant
"A Better Place," which opened in Downtown Cleveland during the spring of 2006, is indeed a better place in a sea of average downtown eateries. The food is good; the service is casual and friendly; and the prices are affordable.
Osteria di Valerio and Al
Osteria di Valerio and Al is a wonderful small, northern Italian restaurant, nestled among the larger buildings in Cleveland Ohio's Warehouse District. The "below-street-level" eatery seems to belong in New York City more than in Cleveland, but their excellent food, knowledgeable service, and stylish decor make it sure hit.
Slyman's Restaurant
Slyman's Restaurant on Cleveland's near east side, is "the" place to go for corned beef. The decor is "early dive bar" and the service can be brusque, but the food is divine and the line to get a table is usually out the door.
Sans Souci
Sans Souci, nestled in a corner of the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel in downtown Cleveland, is a delightful taste of the Mediterranean. The restaurant's cheery hand-painted walls, bouquets of sunflowers, and friendly unassuming service, make it a delight to visit.
Mallorca
Mallorca is a taste of Spain and Portugal in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Known for their excellent continental service and extensive Mediterranean menu, try Mallorca for a tasty and affordable lunch or dinner.
Flannery's
Flannery's is a traditional Irish pub within walking distance of dowtown Cleveland, Ohio's Jacobs Field ballpark and Quicken Loan Arena.
Fat Fish Blue
Right in downtown Cleveland, but with its heart and soul in New Orleans, Fat Fish Blue dishes up fun, live entertainment and delicious Creole cuisine.
Hard Rock Cafe
It's only fitting that the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame should have a Hard Rock Cafe. Cleveland's is fun, full of memorabilia, and conveniently located.
House of Blues
Opened in 2004 in downtown Cleveland, the House of Blues Cleveland, combines distinctive southern cuisine, a fun and electric atmosphere, and some of the best music groups -- of all genres -- around.
John Q's Steakhouse
John Q's is a Cleveland tradition. Located right at Public Square, its comfortable wood-paneled dining room is the setting for excellent steaks and fine wines.
