The Beachland Ballroom, in Cleveland Ohio's Collinwood neighborhood, is a former Croatian ballroom and Cleveland landmark turned concert club. The two stage venue hosts a full schedule of local, regional, and national music acts.
The Wolstein Center, formerly the CSU Convocation Center, is located on the campus of Cleveland State University in Cleveland Ohio, just east of downtown. The 15,000 seat arena is home to the CSU Vikings basketball team and the site of many concert and other special events.
In addition to being the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team, the "Q" hosts over 200 concerts and special events each year.
The Agora Theatre and Ballroom is Cleveland's musical landmark and has supported local bands and national acts since Henry J. LoConti and partners opened its first location at 2175 Cornell Rd. near Case Western Reserve University on February 27, 1966. Since then, the Agora has hosted a variety of artists, many of whom got their first break here, and put Cleveland in the forefront of the world music scene.
Nelson Ledges, located 30 minutes east of Cleveland in Portage County, offers swimming, camping, hiking, and lots of outdoor fun. In the spring, summer, and fall, it is also the home of numerous music festivals, including Hookah Weekend and the Grateful Fest.
Verizon Wireless Music Center is located just north of Indianapolis, in Noblesville, Indiana. About a four-hour drive from Cleveland, the outdoor amphitheater attracts many performers, particularly country music performers that don't play the Buckeye State. The modern complex has an adjacent, reasonably-priced campground that is open for selected concerts.
The Germain Amphitheater, formerly the Polaris Amphitheater, in Columbus Ohio is just under two hours away by car from downtown Cleveland. It's just off of I-71 and offers guests a variety of musical acts in a lovely outdoor setting.
Cain Park, located east of downtown Cleveland in the suburb of Cleveland Heights, is a summer performing arts park surrounded by 22 acres of woodland. It's a lovely place to enjoy an evening concert under the stars.
The Tower City Amphitheater is conveniently located right behind the Avenue at Tower City, along the banks of the Cuyahoga River. It's a festive and scenic concert venue and offers spectacular views of the city lights and the river bridges.
The Plain Dealer Pavilion, formerly the Scene Pavilion, is a delightful venue for a summer concert. Located on the west bank of the Flats, this outdoor amphitheater offers bleacher and festival seating all with a view of the Cuyahoga River, the lights of downtown Cleveland, and the picturesque, lighted bridges.
Blossom Music Center, located in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio, halfway between Cleveland and Akron, is the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra as well as a scenic venue for all sorts of summer music concerts. Concert-goers can sit on the lawn or spring for a pavilion seat. Blossom is known for its spectacular July 4th concerts.
The influential Agora Concert Club is still going strong after 40 years. The popular concert venue, located in Cleveland's Midtown Corridor continues to host "cutting-edge" musicians of all genres.
Opened in 2004 in downtown Cleveland, the House of Blues Cleveland, combines distinctive southern cuisine, a fun and electric atmosphere, and some of the best music groups -- of all genres -- around.
Severance Hall, located in Cleveland's University Circle area, is the home of the Cleveland Orchestra. The lovely neo-classical building, finished in 1931, sports a columned facade and a surprising Art Deco-style interior. In addition to the Orchestra, Severance Hall hosts a schedule of concerts by the Cleveland Youth Orchestra, Cleveland Institute of Music, and various other groups.
