There's a new kid in Columbus and his name is Terrelle Pryor. Before he even attended a class at Ohio State, he was sharing the quarterback duties with senior, Todd Boeckman. Soon, he was leading the team solo. Here's a little more about this OSU star in the making.

Early Years:

Terrelle Pryor comes from the small town of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, in the southwestern part of the state. He is the son of Craig and Toni Pryor.

High School:

Pryor attended Jeannette High School, where he excelled at football and basketball. On the gridiron, he led the school to its first Western PA title in more than 20 years in 2006. He repeated in 2007, grabbing the Pennsylvania state championship as well.

Pryor accumlated a host of honors during his high school career. Among these are two PA player of the year awards, three-time all state team, and the MVP award at the 2007 All-America Bowl.

Terrelle Pryor at Ohio State:

Pryor was named the top high school prospect of 2008 by several news organizations and it was headline news when he picked Ohio State in May of 2008.

Initially, he was slotted as the back-up quarterback behind senior Todd Boeckman, but by the second game of the season, he was sharing the QB duties evenly with him. By Game three, he was the starter.
