History:
Rose Bowl Stadium was finished in 1922. The Art Deco stadium has hosted the Tourament of Roses Rose Bowl game every year since its construction, except for 1942, when Duke University hosted the game due to security concerns following the attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7. Since 1947, the game has pitted the Big Ten and Pac-10 (formerly the Pac-8) conference winner.On Game Day:

- Getting In - There are eight gates to the stadium; please enter from the gate indicated on your ticket. There are no in/out privledges.
- Prohibited Items - The following items are prohibited from the stadium: any backpacks, handbags, etc. larger than 14x 14, banners, cans, glass bottles, thermoses, coolers, alcoholic beverages, large still cameras, video cameras, noisemakers of any kind, umbrellas, beach balls, soccer balls, footballs, Frisbees, narcotics, firearms, explosives or other weapons.
- Security - All guests and their belongings are subject to security inspection upon entering the stadium.
- Smoking - The Rose Bowl is a non-smoking facility.

Limited parking is available in the Rose Bowl parking lots for $30 per car. The lots open at 4am on game day. In addition, there is parking at the Parsons lot at Fair Oaks Ave. and Holly St. in Old Pasadena. A free shuttle connects the lot with the stadium and runs from 10am until two hours after the game. Ohio State and the Rose Bowl:
Ohio State has played in the Rose Bowl 13 times, the last time being in 1997. The Buckeyes have won 6 and lost 7. Though OSU was the Big Ten champion in 2007, they played in the BCS Championship Game instead of the Rose Bowl.Contact Information:
