Clevelander Troy Smith is thought by many to be the finest college quarterback of the 2006 season. In his senior year with Ohio State, Smith led the "Buckeyes" to an undefeated season, losing only in the BCS Championship bowl. He is 2006 winner of the Heisman Trophy.
