Eric Wedge has been the manager of the Cleveland Indians since October 2002 and is one of the youngest managers in major league baseball. Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Wedge graduated from Wichita State (KS) University, were he was an All-American catcher and his team when all the way to the College World Series in 1969. He played nine seasons with various Boston Red Sox minor league teams and played briefly for the Red Sox in '91, '92, and '94. Erie Wedge managed several Cleveland Indians minor league teams before being chosen to manage the Indians.
Eric Wedge is married and lives in Westlake, Ohio. He and his wife, Kate, have one daughter.
