GuitarMania 2007
GuitarMania returns to Cleveland for the summer of 2007. Eighty nine-foot tall Fendor Stratocaster replicas have been decorated by local designers, artists, and celebrities. The colorful art pieces will be displayed all over the Greater Cleveland area through the summer. In September and October, the guitars will be featured at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before being auctioned off to benefit local charities.

A Walk Through Cleveland's Botanical Garden
The Cleveland Botanical Garden, originally called the Cleveland Garden Center, was founded in 1930, primarily as a place to house the extensive library of garden books donated by Eleanor Squire. The center was first located in a small boathouse on the shore of Wade Lagoon. The Center moved to its present location -- the former site of the Cleveland Zoo -- in 1966 and added the 18,000-square foot Glasshouse in the mid-1990s when the Center changed its name.

NASA Glenn Research Center
The NASA Glenn Research Center is a vital part of the NASA system. Located near the airport on Brookpark Road, the visitors' center features 6000 square feet of exhibit space, with interactive exhibits on the center's namesake, John Glenn, as well as on the Apollo Era, space flight, and the space shuttles. James A. Garfield, the 20th President of the United States, was an Ohio native. Born in what is now Moreland Hills, he attended what became Hiram College and lived in Mentor before moving to Washington and the House of Representatives and ultimately the White House. He was assassinated and died just six months after taking office. His castle-like tomb is located in Cleveland's Lakeview Cemetery.
