The Glidden House, located about two miles away from Cleveland Clinic, was built in 1901 by the Glidden paint family. The mansion sits right between the museums of University Circle and Case Western Reserve University, and has been a bed and breakfast inn for about a decade. Guest rooms at the Glidden House have a combination of old-world style and modern amenities. This hotel, located just across Euclid Avenue from the Clinic, offers a less expensive option to the Intercontinental Hotel and Suites. The 232-room hotel was rennovated in 2007 and features a billiard room and free parking. Special rates are offered for patients and monthly rates are also available.

The sister hotel to the Intercontinental, this 168 all-suite hotel is also located directly on the Cleveland Clinic campus. Though not connected via enclosed walkway to the medical center like the Intercontinental, the IC Suites does offer a complimentary shuttle to all of the Clinic buildings.

The Ronald McDonald House is not technically a hotel. It is a communal living space for families with a child being treated in an area hospital. Located about two blocks away from the Cleveland Clinic, the facility offers 37 guest rooms on a first-come, first-serve basis. Room fees are $20/night and may be waived or reduced for families with financial hardship.

The Ronald McDonald House features a children's play area, laundry facilities, six kitchens, and 2 1/2 acres of peaceful, landscaped gardens (pictured at left). A free shuttle is available to the Cleveland Clinic and to Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital at University Hospitals.
