Roscoe Village
Roscoe Village is a living history district, located in the East Central Ohio town of Coshocton. The town, about a two hour drive from downtown Cleveland, has been restored to resemble how it looked in the mid-19th century, when the area was a thriving business center along the Ohio-Erie Canal.
Scenes from the Ohio State Fair
The Ohio State Fair, begun in 1850, has grown to become one of the largest state fairs in the United States. The 12-day event, held each year in early August at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, features live music; carnival rides, the best of Ohio livestock; produce, and crafts; and all the fair food you can handle. Clark Gable Birth Home and Museum
The Clark Gable Birth Home, located in Cadiz Ohio, is the actual house where the Academy Award-winning actor was born and lived until he was two years old. Today, the site is a museum with Gable memorabilia and some of this belongings. There is also an adjacent bed and breakfast inn, with rooms decorated in the period of Mr. Gable's boyhood.
In Monet's Garden at the Columbus Museum of Art
"In Monet's Garden" is being shown at the Columbus Museum of Art from October 12, 2007 to January 20, 2008. The exhibit features paintings by the French Impressionist, Claude Monet, as well as works inspired by him.
