The Cloisters is a new and exciting housing development in the heart of Slavic Village’s historic Warszawa District. The European-style enclave of 22 carriage homes and townhouses is the brainchild of nearby St. Stanislaus’ Pulaski Franciscan Community Development Corporation. When completed, the development will include a large courtyard, off-street guest parking, landscaped gardens, and a large central fountain.

Currently completing phase III, the Cloisters offers homes ranging from 1200 to 1581 square feet, with the added incentives of 15 year complete tax abatements and a 1 ½ percent mortgage interest discount from Third Federal Savings and Loan.

The Houses
Homeowners can choose from a variety of models:
  • The Engel features 1200 square feet of living space, with two bedrooms and two baths. Added features include a loft, a spacious wrap-around porch, and a two-car garage. Prices for these units start at $149,000.
  • The Ackley has 1350 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, two baths, a loft, a cathedral ceiling, and a large private patio. Prices for the Ackley start at $172,900.
  • The Chopin, at 1581 square feet, is the Cloisters’ largest unit. This three-level townhouse has two bedrooms, two-and-a- half baths, a basement, and a deck. Prices start at $189,000.

The Neighborhood
The Cloisters is conveniently located within walking distance to St. Stanislaus Church, the Seven Roses Deli, the Red Chimney Restaurant, and many other interesting shops and eateries. The development is also just a short drive or bus ride from downtown Cleveland and near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park as well as near the I-77 and I-480 arteries.
