Traveling west on Superior Avenue you cross the Detroit-Superior Bridge connecting downtown Cleveland to near westside neighborhoods like Ohio City and Tremont. Designed for car, bike and pedestrian traffic the bridge, also called the Veterans Memorial Bridge, informs travelers with water and wind speeds, a sundial and bridge movements. Walking across the .67 mile bridge, you can rest on benches at the apex or if you drive, you can be one of the more than 3,000 cars the bridge sees every hour.
