The Cleveland Botanical Garden, located in the city's University Circle neighborhood, is a combination of indoor exhibits, housed in a magnificent glasshouse and ten acres of diverse outdoor gardens, including a special children's garden, an herb garden, and a woodland garden.
For the 2011 holiday season, the Botanical Garden is hosting an exhibit of large gingerbread houses with window vignettes, designed by the Garden's affiliate garden clubs. The Garden's exhibition area will be filled with gingerbread houses, created for a contest held in November, as well as lights, trees, and other holiday accents. Of course, the wonderful Garden shop will loaded with special holiday gift items. The show runs until December 31.
