History:
Geauga Lake started in 1888, making it one of the oldest amusement parks in the country. Originally, it was a summer getaway from the bustle of the big city. Over the years, the park has featured a big band dance hall; an Olympic pool where "Tarzan" actor Johnny Weissmueller set a world record; and one of the country's first wave pools. Today, the park is owned by CedarFair, the parent company of Cedar Point in Sandusky. In late 2007, CedarFair announced that it would be closing Geauga Lake Park. Beginning with the 2008 season, the park opened as Wildwater Kingdom.The Rides at Wildwater Kingdom:
Attractions at Wildwater Kingdom Water Park include "Tidal Wave Bay," a 30,000 square foot wave pool; "Splash Landing," a four-story, 3-level play structure with 70 different water gadgets; and "Thunder Falls," Ohio's tallest waterslide complex.Other Facilities:

Wildwater Kingdom opens in late May and stays open until Labor Day. Admission prices for 2009 are $26.40 guests 48" or taller between 3 and 61 years and $12.18 for seniors and juniors (under 48"). A number of annual pass options are also offered. Parking is $5.00 per car.Contact Information:
