Ivan’s Deli, conveniently located in the heart of Montrose, is perfect for a lunch break or after shopping in Montrose. Place your order at the walk-up counter. The large menu board consists of sandwiches, soups, subs, salads, and wraps. Don’t forget to check out the daily specials. It is a friendly, neighborhood deli where Ivan himself is usually there to either take or prepare your order.This casual eatery has ample seating at tables and booths. It is a light, airy place with a view of West Market Street. During warmer weather, take your food outdoors to one of their tables on the patio.
Everything that I have eaten at Ivan’s has been fresh and delicious. I recently enjoyed the Hot Corned Beef sandwich, which had endless layers of corned beef piled high on my choice of Kaiser bread. As a side dish, I chose the chicken matzo ball soup. It was very fresh and hearty. The quantities are very generous; I normally cannot finish my sandwich. Ivan’s is a tasty alternative to the typical fast lunch choices.
