Chipotle Mexican Grill in Akron Ohio

Chipotle Mexican Grill has four locations in Akron. Although labeled a "quick service restaurant," Chipotle is a trendy place with premium quality food at a great price. The décor is hip and eclectic with brushed steel throughout. The atmosphere is fun, casual, and inviting.

The food is prepared before your eyes, allowing you to create your perfect combination of the freshest food. Chipotle is the world’s leading restaurant provider of naturally raised meat, so you can feel very good about the quality of your food. The service is friendly and fast.

Walk through the doors at Chipotle and wait in a line that moves quickly. The menu board is simple with the choice of a burrito, bol, salad, or tacos. The rest is customized your liking with a choice of meat, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. The servers are friendly and helpful in assisting you in creating the best combination for you.

Chipotle for Kids

I visited the Chipotle Mexican Grill in Fairlawn with my family. Ordering was fast and easy, even with kids. I chose the Fajita Burrito (pictured at right) which comes with peppers and onions; I added carnitas pork, sour cream, cheese, mild fresh tomato salsa, rice, and guacamole.

My husband ordered the Burrito with steak, beans, rice, sour cream, cheese, medium roasted chili-corn salsa, and guacamole. Although there is not an official kids menu, there are several options that are kid friendly. You can order a quesadilla with meat, a single taco, or a Bol with any ingredient combination. My son enjoyed a single taco and my 2-year-old daughter shared my burrito and enjoyed every bite.

The Food

The food was delicious and hot. The rice was perfectly steamed and delicious, some of the tastiest rice I’ve had. The carnitas pork was juicy, tender, and mild. The peppers and onions were perfectly sautéed without being overcooked. The fresh salsa added just enough flavor and freshness without too much spice. My husband’s burrito had the perfect mix of flavor and spiciness. The steak that tends to be a bit spicy and the medium chili-corn salsa paired with the fresh guacamole added a great punch of flavor to call it spicy. The portions are gigantic, plenty of food for lunch or dinner for anyone.

Service

The service was great. The manager even helped us to the table with our food since we had our hands full with two kids in heavy winter coats. The restaurant was very clean, including the high chairs. There was a full time dining room attendant keeping the restaurant very clean.
