Outback Steakhouse is a prime selection for excellent steak at an affordable price in a comfortable, casual environment. The Fairlawn location is the first in Ohio to undergo a complete dining room transformation into bold colors with an artsy, modern flare. You will savor the food as everything is made home made and fresh daily. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. If you haven't been to Outback Steakhouse in a while, you owe it to yourself to 'go Outback tonight'.

We used "call ahead seating" to limit waiting time. We fist noticed the recent makeover, the decor popped. Renovations include new hard wood floors, new warm color pallet throughout, comfy new booth seats, new bar with a stone wall centerpiece, new flat screen TVs, and modern art pieces large adorning the walls. It is a place where you will find families, friends, and couples enjoying dinner in a casual, relaxed environment.

Outback Steakhouse has a full menu of appetizers, salads, grilled food, USDA choice steaks, prime rib, pasta, seafood, kids menu, and desserts. There is something for every taste.

Dinner began with a complimentary loaf of warm bush bread paired with sweet, whipped butter. As an appetizer, their signature Bloomin' Onion with spicy dipping sauce was served fresh and hot. You can't visit Outback without this irresistible treat. Next, came the very tasty house salad with hand cut croutons, two cheeses, fresh tomatoes, and honey mustard dressing that was light and delicious.

I ordered one of their best-selling USDA steaks, a 12-oz. ribeye. The steak was cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning rubbed on top and seared just enough. The sweet potato paired well with melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar on top. It was hot, sweet, and melted in my mouth. My guest enjoyed the Alice Springs Chicken, one of Outback's top-selling classic dishes. You won't be able to resist the grilled chicken breast that is loaded with several slices of crisp bacon, sauteed mushrooms, and smothered with monterey jack and cheddar cheeses. The chicken was juicy and the toppings added a punch of flavor. This was served with their hand-cut daily Aussie Chips.

The friendly, attentive service began the moment they open the door for you upon entering. The waitress was very attentive and helpful, always making sure that we had full drinks and happy faces.
