The centerpiece of the new museum lobby, and the largest work in the museum's collection, is a "wall drawing" by Sol LeWitt. LeWitt, who died in 2007, said he was inspired by the shapes and patterns found in both the 1899 building and the new John S. and John L. Knight Building.
