National Hamburger Festival

This family fun festival celebrates the hamburger in all its glory with over 20 restaurants offering up their specialties at Lock 3 Park. Enjoy live music, entertainers, burger competitions, eating championships, a Miss Hamburger contest, and more. Admission is $5 for ages 8 and up. The 2008 festival is July 19 and 20. Hours are noon to 1030pm on Saturday and noon to 7pm on Sunday.

Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival

The annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival brings in about 700,000 football fans each year to celebrate the induction of new members with over 15 fun events and activities throughout the week. Events include the Queen Pageant, Balloon Classic Invitational, races, parades, a Rib Burn-off, and the annual Hall of Fame football game. Admission and attractions vary on price. The 2008 dates are July 25 through August 4.

Hale Farm Harvest Festival

See first-hand how families in the mid 18th century brought in their harvest and prepared for winter at Hale Farm and Village's Harvest Festival. The festival offers plenty of fun for everyone with wagon rides, food, live music, craft demonstrations, pumpkin patches, and activities for kids. The 2008 dates are October 11 and 12.

Yankee Peddler Festival

Step back into time to 200 years ago and visit the rustic shops set up by master artists and crafters at Canal Fulton's popular Yankee Peddler Festival. Enjoy food grilled over an open fire, live entertainment, demonstrations, and lots of shopping. The 2008 dates are weekends from September 6 to September 21. Hours are 1030am to 6pm and admission is $8.50 for adults and $2.50 for children ages 6-11.

Akron Arts Expo

Over 160 exhibitors will showcase their fine arts and crafts at the 28th Annual Akron Arts Expo. Enjoy live entertainment, great food, the Taste of Akron Event, wine tasting, a silent auction, and activities for children all weekend long. Admission is free, but some activities carry a charge. The 2008 dates have yet to be announded. Hours are 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.

Loyal Oak Cider Festival

The Loyal Oak Cider Festival features everything apples. Enjoy fresh apples, cider, crafts, fireworks, a parade, and live entertainment. Admission is free. The 2008 dates have not yet been announced. Hours are Saturday 10am to 9pm and Sunday noon to 6pm.

Italian American Festival

The 61th annual Italian American Festival promises to be better than ever this year. New entertainers and vendors are added to the line up of all of your past favorites. New this year is a wine tasting event, Gondola rides, pizza eating contests, and a car show. Free admission, attractions vary on price. Hours are Friday, July 11th, 5pm to midnight; Saturday, July 12th, Noon to midnight; and Sunday, July 13th, 1pm to 7pm.

Fall Family Fest

The event includes a Sunday morning worship service at 1030am followed by a day of family fun including food, games, prizes, and a live concert. The 2008 date has not yet been announced. Hours are 10am to 8pm.

Copley Heritage Day Festival

The Copley Heritage Day Festival features a host of activities to enjoy including a parade, a bike ride, a pancake breakfast, a K.I.S.S. Quilt raffle, a magic show, a bandstand concert, great good, fireworks, contests, crafts, and plenty of activities for kids. Admission is free. The 2008 dates have not yet been announced. Hours are Saturday 4pm to 9pm and Sunday 730am to 9pm.

Magic City Festival

This weekend full of fun includes a parade, live entertainment, fun activities for the whole family, prizes, and Barberton's Official Rib Burn-Off. Admission is free; some of the activities carry a fee. The 2008 festival dates have not yet been announced.

Lake Anna Arts and Crafts Festival

Stroll through the 200 booths of unique crafts and creations, watch demos of various art projects being made, enjoy musicians throughout the festival, and enjoy activities for kids at the Lake Anna Arts and Crafts Festival. This free event celebrates 32 years of sharing arts and crafts to the public at the beautiful Lake Anna Park. The 2008 festival is July 12 and 13. Hours are Saturday 10am to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
