Akron Home and Flower Show

The Akron Home and Flower Show, held each February since 1993, transforms the J.S. Knight Convention Center into a garden wonderful. With acres of showcase gardens, local celebrities, hundreds of exhibitors, and a variety of demonstrations, it makes a nice oasis from the winter cold. The 2009 dates are February 27 - March 1.

The Gardens:

The Akron Home and Flower Show features over 4900-square feet of showcase gardens, including a large demonstration garden created by Pettiti Garden Centers.

The Celebrities:

Celebrities at the 2009 Flower Show will include Ed Begley Jr. and HGTV's Shari Hiller and Matt Fox.

The Exhibitors at the Akron Home and Flower Show:

The show will feature hundreds of exhibitors including Renewal by Andersen, Kitchen Craft, Ohio State Waterproofing, Medina Glass Block, Barden Homes, and many, many others.

Other Activities:

Other activities at the Akron Home and Flower Show will include home improvement seminars and cooking demonstrations.

Hours and Admission:

The Akron Home and Flower Show is open from 11am to 9pm each day on Friday and Saturday and from 11am to 6pm on Sunday. Admission is $8 per adult and free for children 12 and under. $1 discount coupons are printable from the link below. Parking is free in Akron city lots beginning at 6pm on Friday.
