Late each July, the world's best golfers descend on Akron Ohio's Firestone Country Club for the WGC Bridgestone Invitational Tournament. Here are some photos from the 2008 practice rounds, July 29 and 30. I particularly like to watch the practice rounds because everything is much more casual. There are few spectators and the golfers requently interact with the crowd. Some golfers bring their kids; others are frantically taking notes to study for the upcoming tournament.
