Clark Gable Birth Home and Museum
The Clark Gable Birth Home, located in Cadiz Ohio, is the actual house where the Academy Award-winning actor was born and lived until he was two years old. Today, the site is a museum with Gable memorabilia and some of this belongings. There is also an adjacent bed and breakfast inn, with rooms decorated in the period of Mr. Gable's boyhood.
Gallucci's Italian Food Market
Gust Gallucci's is a complete Italian food market, located in Cleveland's Midtown Corridor, halfway between downtown Cleveland and University Circle. Started 85 years ago by an Italian immigrant, Gust Gallucci, hungry for the food of his homeland, Gallucci's still sells a wide variety of Italian canned goods, fresh and cured meats, cheeses, wines, and Italian housewares.
Cleveland Public Library
The Cleveland Public Library system, founded in 1869, includes the main downtown library as well as 28 branches scattered throughout the city. The library also participates in a network with other regional libraries to make those libraries' collections available to Cleveland Public Library cardholders.
Cleveland's Asiatown
Cleveland's Asiatown, roughly bounded by Superior, Payne, East 29th and East 39th Streets, is small but colorful. Located just east of downtown, the neighborhood features interesting architecture, delicious and varied restaurants, and unique Asian shopping. Cleveland's Asiatown continues to evolve as old families and new money move to the area, rehabbing old buildings and creating new businesses.
Canton Museum of Art
The Canton Museum of Art, founded in 1935, is a small museum with an interesting collection of important works. The museum specializes in 19th and 20th century American works on paper and American ceramics from the 1950s to the present.
The Dew Action Sports Tour
The Dew Tour, now in its third season, is the most watched and attended action sports event in the world. The 2007 tour, which features BMX, skateboarding, and freestyle motocross, will hit Cleveland in July, the second of five stops on the tour.

The Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum, located in Armstrong's hometown of Wapakoneta, Ohio, celebrates the life and the mission of the first man to walk on the moon.
Goodtime III
The Goodtime III is Cleveland's largest sightseeing vessel. The spacious, four-deck ship operates a regular schedule of Lake Erie and Cuyahoga River narrated sightseeing cruises from May through September as well as periodic theme cruises, dance cruises, and Friday happy hour cruises.
Vintage Ohio Wine Festival
Vintage Ohio is a two-day festival that showcases Ohio wine, food, and music. The event, held at Lake Metroparks' Farmpark just east of Cleveland, features wine samples, ohio food vendors, craft exhibits and demonstrations, and food samples from area restaurants.
Feast of the Assumption
Cleveland Ohio's Feast of the Assumption, held each year in mid-August in the city's Little Italy neighborhood, is a four-day street fair that celebrates the Catholic Day of Assumption (August 15), when the Virgin Mary died and assumed her place beside Jesus. The Feast is a fun-filled Italian street party with rides, food, live music, a parade, and lots of fun.
Kings Island
Kings Island, opened in 1972, is located 24 miles NE of Cincinnati, just off of I-71. The 364-acre family amusement park features 41 rides, including 14 coasters as well as a host of other attractions.
Oberlin College
Oberlin College is a private liberal arts college, located about an hour west of downtown Cleveland. The college was the first US college to admit African-American students and is the oldest continuously operating Co-educational college. The school continues its heritage of academic excellence combined with social responsibility.
Hudson Ohio
Hudson Ohio, located about 45 minutes southeast of Cleveland, is an affluent suburb, with a historic shopping district, many fine restaurants, and a history dating back to the early days of the Western Reserve.
Lake Erie Monsters
The Lake Erie Monsters, Cleveland Ohio's AHL professional hockey team, is scheduled to start play with the 2007/2008 season. An affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, the Lake Erie Monsters will play their home games at Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena.
Great Lakes Brewery
The Great Lakes Brewery, located just west of downtown in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood, is Ohio's first microbrewery. Established in 1988, the historic six-building complex now includes a brewery, a brew pub, banquet facilities, and a gift shop.
Cleveland's Detroit-Shoreway Neighborhood
Cleveland's Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood is located on the west side of town, bounded by Lake Erie, I-90, and West 45th and 85th Streets. The neighborhood has been home to a variety of ethnic groups, each of which have left their mark on the area. Today, Detroit-Shoreway is poised for a renaissance, with new housing and an ambitious new arts project at Gordon Square.
Cleveland Botanical Garden
The Cleveland Botanical Garden, located in the city's University Circle neighborhood, is a combination of indoor exhibits, housed in a magnificent glasshouse and ten acres of diverse outdoor gardens, including a special children's garden and a wheelchair accessible garden.
Jeptha Wade
Jeptha Wade was the founder of Western Union Telegraph Company and a big Cleveland philanthropist during the late 19th century. His generosity helped make possible the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Zoo, and Lake View Cemetery, among other institutions.
Rockefeller Park Greenhouse
Cleveland's Rockefeller Park Greenhouse, located just off of Martin Luther King Blvd. near University Circle, is a wonderful collection of exotic and native plants. Admission to the greenhouse is free and highlights include the extensive orchid and tropical plant exhibits as well as the spring bulb and December holiday plants displays.
National City Home and Garden Show
The Cleveland Home and Garden Show, held each February at Cleveland's I-X Center, is the largest such show in North America. The nine-day event features celebrity gardens, gardening demonstrations, dozens of gardening and home improvement vendors, home models, and food and drink. Each year the show takes a different country as its theme.
Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival
Cleveland's Irish Cultural Festival has been highlighting Irish music, food, art, and dance for more than 25 years. Held each July at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea, Ohio, the event is one of the area's most popular summer festivals.
Chagrin Valley Little Theater
The Chagrin Valley Little Theater, located in the village of Chagrin Falls about 45 minutes east of Cleveland Ohio, is one of the oldest community theaters in the country. The theater company, founded in 1930, produces a full schedule of dramas, comedies, and musicals each year.
Cleveland Wine Festival
The Cleveland (Ohio) Wine Festival, held each summer in the shadow of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is a two-day celebration of wine, food, music, and friends.
Lakeside - Ohio's Chautauqua
Lakeside Ohio, founded in 1873, is a year-round community that emphasizes spiritual growth, education, and cultural enrichment. Located along the Lake Erie shore about halfway between Cleveland and Toledo, Lakeside is one of the few remaining 19th century Chautauquas (learning and cultural retreats).
