Halloweekends at Cedar Point

Saturday August 18, 2007
It may be over six weeks until Halloween, but it's time to make plans for Cedar Point's Halloweekends. The park is transforming itself into a haunted wonderland every weekend from September 14 until October 28. Beginning September 14, the park will be open each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for "Halloweekends." Attractions range from the tame to the truly terrifying.

New this year is the "Monster Midway Celebration Parade," which happens each Saturday and Sunday at 4pm. Guests will also find new food items, such as corn-on-the-cob and giant turkey drumsticks as well as movies at the midway "drive-in," live entertainment, and "Camp Spooky," the park's children's area.

Cedar Point is open Fridays from 6pm until 11pm, Saturdays from Noon until midnight, and on Sundays from 10am until 8pm. Adult admission is $24.95 on Fridays and $41.95 on Saturdays and Sundays. Senior (over 62) and Junior (under 48") admission is $11.95.

Be sure to also check out Haunted Houses in Northeast Ohio and Family Halloween activities.
