The Oscars in Cleveland
Tomorrow night is the 78th annual Academy Awards presentation. The glamour, the excitement, the fashion, the "bling" -- it's all there.
Plan to watch the show curled up on your couch, or at one of the several Oscars parties around Cleveland.
The official "Oscar Night America" party, which benefits Independent Pictures, a film-arts organization, is being held at Windows on the River in the Flats. The Velvet Dog, in the Warehouse District, is hosting a party with complimentary Vodka samples, hors d'oeuvres, and a contest for the person with the best "movie star" costume. The Old Arcade is home to a women-focused Oscar party with spa treatments, appetizers, and an open bar. Find out more about these and other events in the March events calendar.
Wherever you watch the show, be sure to root for Cleveland native, Terrence Howard, nominated for a Best Actor award for his work in Hustle and Flow. Good luck Terrence!
