Ohio fishing licenses expire on February 28. New ones may be ordered online or at one of hundreds of outlets throughout the state.
Resident licenses are $19 (ages 16 - 65). Senior licenses are $10. No license is required for those under 16. Residents age 70 and older may obtain a free license at any outlet by showing proof of age. Non-resident licenses are $40 for a year or $19 for a three-day license.
Northeast Ohio offers a wealth of scenic fishing spots, from the shores of Lake Erie (pictured above) to its inland lakes, such as the one at Punderson State Park in Geauga County.
