It seems that the Cleveland Aquarium has had a banner year. The city's newest attraction just celebrated its one-year anniversary and reported that more than 400,000 visitors came to see the Aquarium's 40 tanks of fish and aquatic mammals in 10 galleries. Because of this success, the Aquarium is lowering its admission price immediately by $2 per person. This makes admission $19.95 for adults, $17.95 for senior and military, and $13.95 for children.
The Aquarium also announced they will be adding a new exhibit--"Sea Monsters"--in February. According to the Aquarium's press release, "this interactive display developed by Mote Marine Laboratory offers a glimpse into some of the fascinating 'monster' characteristics of some sea animals through hands-on educational panels."
The Cleveland Aquarium, located in the Powerhouse on the west bank of the Flats, is open daily from 10am to 5pm.
