If you're strapped for funds this Thanksgiving or a struggling student, you don't have to do without a turkey dinner. A number of faith-based and civic organizations are serving traditional Thanksgiving dinners to those who would otherwise have to do without. Thanksgiving is 1 of my favorite holidays, and each yr I like to get into the mood-extend the holiday, when it were-by reading “Thanksgiving novels.” Not surprisingly, those stories are mostly about families, about coming together to heal old hurts and giving thanks for the gift of love. . . . –
