I like Mellencamp but how does he get in before Journey!! Hello?
Where is Pat Benatar????
Thank You. Besides Pat Bentar, and Journey, where are the Dobbie Brothers, Donna Summer and even Duran Duran?
Summer was more than a “Disco Queen’ she had a lengthy 4 decade carrer as well. She has ‘Rock roots’ performing in an European version of “Hair’ in the early 1970’s.
Plus Donna was the first Solo Female Performer in Billboard history to have three #1’s songs on the pop charts (1979)in same calendar year.
And dont forget the Dobbie Brothers who one of the pioneers of “Country-Rock’ in their early days when Mr. Johnstone was lead vocals. Later too mixing in r&B, smooth jazz and pop too. Hopefully those mentioned greats in music will be in the class of 2010.
The shame of it all no Cheap Trick and Run Dmc is in.Give me a break its Rock and roll not that rap crap.I used to want to go to the Rock and Roll hall of fame now I wont waste my money.
