Who is Eric Mangini?

As you probably know by now, the Cleveland Browns have signed a four-year contract with former NY Jets head coach, Eric Mangini to be the head coach of the team. But, who is this Eric Mangini? Here are a few facts:
  • At 37, Mangini is the second youngest head coach in the NFL
  • Mangini got his start in the NFL as a ball boy for the Browns in 1994
  • Mangini's brother-in-law is Cleveland Indians General Manager, Mark Shapiro
  • Mangini graduated from Wesleyan College in Middletown, Connecticut where he played nose tackle and was fraternity brothers with former Browns head coach, Bill Belichick
  • Mangini worked for Belichick in Cleveland, New York, and New England
  • Mangini is close friends with former Browns head coach, Romeo Crennel
  • Mangini is married with three sons
  • Mangini had a cameo role on the HBO TV series, "The Sopranos"
