Cleveland Christmas Memories - The Sterling-Linder-Davis Tree
Tuesday December 2, 2008

Readers over "a certain age" will remember the spectacular indoor Christmas tree, the largest in the nation, at the Sterling-Linder-Davis department store. The store, located at E. 12th Street and Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland, served the community from 1909 until it closed in 1968.

Why is it spelled Lindner and other times Linder? My aunt worked there in the 50s and we always saw the tree at Christmas.
