A Christmas Story Convention
Thursday November 6, 2008
One of Cleveland's favorite holiday attractions, A Christmas Story House, the Tremont house where the classic holiday movie, "A Christmas Story," was filmed, is hosting a Christmas Story House Convention, November 28 and 29. This celebration of the 25th anniversary of the movie's filming will feature appearances by actors from the movie, the premieres of two documentaries about the movie and A Christmas Story House, rides in the original fire truck used in the movie, the unveiling of newly-acquired costumes from the movie, and--of course--tours of A Christmas Story House and Museum.
The Renaissance Cleveland Hotel, located at Public Square, is the official hotel for the convention and is hosting several of the events, including the meet-and-greet with the actors. Lolly the Trolley will be providing transportation to and from A Christmas Story House. For more information on the event, visit the attraction's Web site. That sounds like a fantatsic event I wish I could get there. A Christmas Story is such a fantastic feel good and very humorous film and something I watch ever single year.
We ran a poll on our movie website about the favourite Christmas movie and I wonder if you can guess where A Christmas Story ended up in the poll.
