Cedar Point Celebrates Christmas in July

Friday July 25, 2008
Cedar Point amusement park, just a hour or so west of Cleveland, has been named "America's Favorite Amusement Park" for four years in a row by "Theme Park" magazine. The park is known for its large number of roller coasters, from the classic, wooden "Blue Streak" to the modern thriller, "Maverick," added in 2007.

To celebrate "Christmas in July," Cedar Point gave 12 Santa's helpers a ride aboard the Maverick (pictured above). They are also offering the first 5000 patrons a chance to purchase, limited time $25 admission tickets. This compares to the regular adult admission of $42.95. A minimum of four tickets must be purchased at that price and tickets must be used by September 1. Still, it's a good deal and Cedar Point is always fun.
