The Oscars in Cleveland

Sunday February 24, 2008
Sunday is the 80th annual Academy Awards presentation. The glamour, the excitement, the fashion, the "bling" -- it's all there. Plan to watch the show curled up on your couch, or at one of the several Oscars parties around Cleveland.

The official "Oscar Night America" party, which benefits the American Diabetes Foundationa is being held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Twinsburg this year. Tickets are $100 each and the dress is "dress to impress." For more information and to RSVP, see the event's Web site.

If you'd rather stay home and host your own Oscar Party, here are some resources from around the About network:Remember that Northeast Ohio has two of its own nominated for major awards this year, Ruby Dee for Best Supporting Actress and Hal Holbrook for Best Supporting Actor.
