The Euclid Tavern is Back
Tuesday January 29, 2008
Just when it seemed destined for the wrecking ball, the venerable Euclid Tavern at University Circle has a new life. The "Euc" was a popular rock and roll club in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. The club struggled until it finally closed in 2001, seemingly for good. Not so. After a year of renovations, the Euclid Tavern re-opened its doors on January 25. They are serving lunch and dinner from 11am to 2am, with plans to eventually add breakfast service. In addition, they have a full schedule lined up of live jazz and rock music. Visit the Tavern's Web site for a menu and entertainment schedule.

I loved that place while at Case in the early 1990’s…it was perfect then….best wings, great people. Why’d they have to go and change it???
Some GREAT memories for me at The ET were from back in the 80’s on Wed. & Sat. nights, not even being technically of legal age, with Mr. Stress hammering out the most intense R&B, and pitchers of Kamakazis and beer being passed around while dancing on the crowded, small dance floor…
